Key Challenge:
Safely assessing, purchasing, and removing a multi-ton MRI scanner that was severely compromised by fire and structural damage.
Our Solution:
This project required more than just dismantling; it was a recovery operation. Our hazardous environment team assessed the fire-damaged site to ensure structural safety before beginning work. We purchased the compromised asset "as-is," taking on the full risk and responsibility for its extraction. The team then carefully dismantled the massive iron yoke and magnet poles of the permanent magnet MRI, working methodically to deconstruct the heavy, damaged components.
